One male has been transported by helicopter to an area trauma center after he was shot in the upper torso Tuesday evening.
The incident occured around 6 p.m. in the 3400 block of Periwinkle Way in Edgewood, according to Rich Gardiner of the Harford County Fire & EMS Association.
The identity and condition of the male was not immediately available.
