300-Pound Man Robs KFC at Gunpoint

A large man, wearing all black, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the KFC on Beards Hill Road on Sunday night, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

 

Aberdeen police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Beards Hill Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

A large man, dressed in all black clothing and wearing a mask, displayed a handgun to restaurant employees and fled the KFC with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Cpl. Detective Will Reiber.

Employees who were on duty at the time of the incident described the armed robber as weighing 300 pounds and between 6-foot and 6-foot-2.

The restaurant was open at the time of the robbery, but no customers were inside, according to Aberdeen police.

No one was injured during the incident.
