Aberdeen Crime: Baltimore Man TASERED After Game
A man was arrested for disorderly conduct following Wednesday's game.

A Baltimore man assaulted police before being TASERed after the girls basketball region semifinal game at Aberdeen High School Wednesday night.
Aberdeen police spokesman Lt. Fred Budnick said Teoine D. Carroll, 30, of the 500 block of Brunswick Street in Baltimore, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey and two counts of assault on a police officer.
After the girls MPSSAA region semifinal, which the Eagles won, school administrators and Aberdeen police directed the crowd to exit through a specific doorway. Budnick said Carroll attempted to exit through a restricted area and allegedly resisted an officer's orders and assaulted the officer when he was confronted.
"He wouldn’t abide by their request, and another officer assisted. Ultimately, he was arrested for disorderly conduct," Budnick said. "He was not compliant, and the TASER was used. He was arrested and brought here to the police station."
Aberdeen will host the region championship at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Really? High school basketball game, we now need armed police at a high school basketball game? I suppose that we have to restrict exit doors to keep players safe so this leads me to believe that participating in a girls high school basketball game could have violent consequences. Pretty ridiculous state of affairs if you ask me, about as ridiculous as Aberdeen police patrolling a Harford County public school event, isn't that what Harford County deputies are for? Harford County public school nor Aberdeen City public school.

Since Aberdeen High School is within the city limits of Aberdeen, it is the Aberdeen Police Department that has jurisdiction rather than the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Your argument is ridiculous. First of all, when was the last time you saw an on-duty, unarmed police officer? Second, we know nothing of this man's intentions. One of the exit doors to the gym opens into the hallway where the locker rooms are located. If this man was attempting to enter that area, then I am certainly glad for a police presence to stop him. If he was willing to assault a police officer, do think a simple "you can't go there" from a school administrator would have stopped him?

First of all it is ridiculous that we have parents that cannot control themselves coming to the children's sporting events. It's ridiculous that the sport or match is overshadowed by the possibility of violence breaking out. Yes indeed, watch the national news, it's a sad state of affairs in this country when it comes to violence and the youth. Secondly, I don't care if the school is in Aberdeen, Bel Air, HDG, let the sheriff's provide security at all HCPS. I pay my Aberdeen taxes for the Aberdeen police to patrol the streets of Aberdeen not to babysit at a basketball game. By the way, Aberdeen is a county wide school when it comes to math and science programs, being a magnet school, all the more reason to have sheriff's there all of the time. Thirdly, is this the same Paul Bull that was on the police force? I heard that you retired. You handled the call when my shed was broken in to some years back, anyway, if you moved on from police work good luck. I guess they didn't replace you because you don't see many Aberdeen cars on the streets anymore or they are all tied up at school games..
