Aberdeen High, Four Havre de Grace Schools Closed Friday

Flooding and road closures have caused the closure of the schools.

 

The following five Harford County Public Schools are closed to all students and employees Friday as a result of flooding and road closures:

  • Meadowvale Elementary School
  • Havre de Grace Elementary School
  • Havre de Grace Middle School
  • Havre de Grace High School
  • Aberdeen High School

All Thursday after school activities are canceled.

All other Harford schools are operating on a normal schedule Friday.

Heard Port Deposit had evacuated 1000 residents too! Due to the opening of the flood gates and rising tide. =(

Has to be because some of their students live in the evacuation area.

They may have wanted the school available, if needed, for a shelter, as it was during Hurricane Agnes.
