Year In Review: Eagles Girls Hoops Top Story of 2012

Vi Ripken was abducted, new businesses opened, Hurricane Sandy blew past, two active officers died and Aberdeen continued to adjust to BRAC. But the Aberdeen High School girls basketball team was the No. 1 story of 2012.

 

What a year!

The Aberdeen community had its fair share of both highs and lows in 2012.

It's tough to pick the top stories of the year, but the leading candidate for the story of 2012 has to be the Eagles' girls basketball team winning the program's first state championship.
