Monday's meeting will begin with a moment of silence for late board president Dr. Leonard Wheeler, who died on Sept. 11.
The program also includes the funding requirements for future and currently planned projects based on the already approved 2012 Educational Facilities Master Plan.
The presentation covering the proposed budget and the county worksheets will be led by Assistant Superintendent of Operations Cornell S. Brown
The Harford County Board of Education will also come to a decision on the contract award for the benefit enrollment provider. Harford County Public Schools have been utilizing Benelogic, which is associated with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, since 2005. The school system was notified in April that CareFirst will be terminating its agreement with Benelogic on Dec. 31, 2012.
HCPS was informed that they could continue using the services provided by Benelogic or move to the alternative benefit enrollment provider, Benefit Focus.
A decision will also be made on the school sponsored project at C. Milton Wright High School concerning the installation of storm pipes and storm drains.
This request is being made to accommodate the required storm drainage from the Sandy Ridge Subdivision located adjacent to the high school.
