CONTEST: Is Your Mom the Best in Harford County?

Poets write about them. Strong men cry in their presence. We honor them each year with a special day punctuated by hearts and flowers, and perhaps even breakfast in bed.
Don't just settle for all the customary ways to celebrate how awesome your mom is. Instead, upload a photograph of her to this article and write a caption telling us what's so great about the moms of Harford County.
Next Friday, May 11 at noon, we'll randomly pick a winner and call her the "Best Mom of Harford County."
Now that's a gift. But if that's not enough, we'll also award you a $50 gift certificate to spend any way you want on mom. (C'mon, dads, if your kids can't upload a photo of your wife, do it with them!)
The contest rules are attached.
Patch will also compile photos of moms from across the state for a "Moms of Maryland" photo gallery. We hope your Mom will be included.

Mandi's mom, Mary, isn't my mother. But, she is one of the best moms I have ever known. She raised her sister's son as her own child; and he is a wonderful young man. Mandi has grown to be a wonderful and loving young woman. But, Jason is her masterpiece. He is severely disabled, and Mary has sacrificed many aspects of her life (although she'll deny the sacrifice part) to devote herself to raising Jason and enabling him to become the best he can be. She is a wonderful Harford County Mother!!!!

Barbara, I would have to agree with you on every aspect! Mary is the most wonderful person and so giving. She expects NOTHING in return. She definatlly should be considered the most wonderful HC mother and person!
