UPDATED (7:15 a.m.)—With wintry weather in the forecast, Harford County Public Schools will be closed Monday.
The school system initially called for a two-hour delay, officials announced shortly before 5 a.m. Monday. But by 7:11 a.m., officials announced that schools were closed.
Employees are "code blue," officials said.
Harford County—and much of Maryland—was under a winter weather advisory from 5 a.m. to noon Monday. A wintry mix was in the forecast, with poor travel conditions likely.
Schools closed two hours early Friday due to snow.

Since this weather is wreaking havoc with my neck due to recent cervical disk surgery my "taxi service" is a bit overwhelming for me right now. So, instead my kids enjoyed breakfast in bed!
