Man Evades Police on I-95, Runs Into Aberdeen Woods
Travis Clark, wanted in Cecil County and Pennsylvania, is not considered dangerous, police said.
A man bailed out of his car on Interstate 95 during a traffic stop and ran away from police Tuesday afternoon near Aberdeen.
During a traffic stop around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 14, north of the Maryland House on Interstate 95, Travis Clark allegedly ran from police and into the woods along the highway in the direction of MD Route 7, Harford County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Monica Worrell said.
As of 4:15 p.m., Clark had not been located, but was not considered a danger to the public, Worrell said. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black jeans and a black backpack.
Worrell said the search—which also involved Maryland State police assistance on the ground and via helicopter—was called off around 2 p.m.
Worrell did not immediately have any further information on Clark.
