No Injuries In Early Morning Blaze

The fire took place in the 700 block of Schofield Avenue.

 

An Aberdeen home was engulfed in smoke and flames when local fire companies arrived just before 5 a.m. Monday.

The one-alarm blaze took place at a 1.5-story home in the 700 block of Schofield Avenue. Fire fighters had the building under control in 25 minutes, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Fire & EMS Association.

Gardiner said the Maryland State Fire Marshal was investigating the fire.

There were no injuries reported.

Gardiner said companies responding included Aberdeen, Level, Aberdeen Proving Ground and the Susquehanna Hose Company.
