Readers: Harford Works Out Here

Patch readers debated the top workout spots last week.

Harford County is in good shape.

That's because there are some high-quality gyms and fitness centers in the county.

We polled readers last week in the second edition of our Patch Readers' Choice series to find out where they prefer working out in Harford County.

Aberdeen's All Access Fitness and Bel Air's Arena Club claimed the Patch Readers' Choice nominations in their communities. (When we launched the feature, it was called "Best Of." But we've since changed the name.)

In Aberdeen and Havre de Grace—combined together with just three centers combined—All Access Fitness was chosen over Snap Fitness.

In Bel Air, Arena Club was picked as the favorite.

I appreciate all the help with finding a good gym. This week I need to cut loose after working out so much. Time to pick the best spots in Harford County to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

But while we're here, why not have some fun and see which of the winners you prefer: Bel Air's The Arena Club or Aberdeen's All Access Fitness.

Leave a comment, vote in the poll and review your favorite spots. Let the other Patch readers around Harford County know where they should go when they decide to work out away from home.

While you're at it, share your input on the top spots to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in AberdeenHavre de Grace and Bel Air, too.

Sean, Is this a story of David & Goliath?..lol Here’s the apples & Oranges.
Keith & Kathy have created a Health club I’ve always dreamed of having.
1. The Arena has "EVERYTHING" you need for a club that is 10x the size of All Access Fitness but we obviously have Lower Membership fees.
2. All Access Fitness is open 24 Hours, Sundays, Holidays & during snow storms (no worry this year)
3. With gas prices at $3.70/gal. depending on where you’re commuting from, it may be cheaper at All Access Fitness especially if you work out 3x a week.
3. Finally, The Arena has a pool BUT if it rains "Really, Really hard" All Access Fitness does have a pool in the corner of our parking lot AND a raging river in the alley, so bring your inner tube. :)

Both are very nice facilities, but I prefer All Access Fitness as I can work out there 24/7, which really helps when I'm doing shift work. It's a great place, always clean, and the equipment is perfect.

All Access Fitness offers its members personal relationships with the prostaff and members. This is an experience that a larger club can never duplicate.
