Aberdeen's Bri Jones doesn't have much left to accomplish in high school.
This week, the Eagles' rising senior began the countdown to graduation by electing her college choice. According to The Sun, the all-metro center informed Maryland coach Brenda Frese on July 4 that she will play for the Terps starting next year.
The 6-foot-3 post presence average 23.5 points, 11.6 rebounds and 4.2 blocks as a junior, according to The Sun.
She led the Eagles to the program's first state title, a year after pushing Aberdeen to a state finals berth.
The Sun reported Jones—whose brother, John Carroll grad Jarred, will attend Loyola this fall—also considered Delaware, Georgetown, South Carolina and Virginia before settling on the Terps.
