The fire took place in the 800 block of Fisherman Lane Monday morning.

Crews from seven local fire companies brought a blaze under control within 15 minutes Monday morning in Edgewood.

The fire took place at a two-story, split level home in the 800 block of Fisherman Lane, according to a post from Harford County Fire & EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner on the organization's Facebook page.

Gardiner noted that crews from Joppa, Abingdon, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Bel Air, White Marsh, Fallston and Kingsville responded to the fire around 8 a.m.

There were no injuries reported, Gardiner wrote.

Patch readers reported smoke was visible from U.S. Route 40 and MD Route 24 during the morning rush.
