Victim Shot in Perrywood in 'Serious' Condition

Daniel Patrick Morris, 26, was shot after a dispute, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office identified the victim of a Saturday night shooting in Perrywood as a 26-year-old Cecil County man.

Daniel Patrick Morris, of Elkton, was in serious condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center Sunday afternoon, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

Morris, who was shot in the abdomen, was unable to provide a description of the suspect, officials said.

According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, the shooting followed a dispute that occurred at an apartment complex on the 200 block of Perrywood Court in Perrywood.

Authorities were called at 6:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired, Harford County Sheriff's Office spokesman Aaron Stewart said.

An acquaintance of Morris took him to Harford Memorial Hospital, where he was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
