 gibility:\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Current enrollment at a
  two or four-year college or university\, or vocational school\;\n&nbsp\
 ;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Entering freshmen must have taken the SAT 
 1 or the ACT unless having graduated from high school for 5 or more year
 s.\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Current undergraduate and graduate stud
 ents must have earned at least 24 college credit hours.\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\; 
 Current resident of DC\, MD or VA\nEssays should be a brief summary of h
 ow your educational plans will advance your career and/or interests. Des
 cribe how and when any unusual family or personal circumstances have aff
 ected your achievement in school\, work experience\, or your participati
 on in school and community activities. List school and community service
  activities in which you have participated without pay during the past f
 our years (e.g.\, hospital or hospice\, volunteer\, etc) Include special
  awards\, honors\, or any other related information.\nTerm &amp\; Condit
 ions&nbsp\;\nUp to a five (5) scholarship awards of either $500 or $1000
  each will be granted. Part-time students are eligible for the $500 scho
 larship awards.&nbsp\; Full-time students will receive the $1000 scholar
 ship awards.&nbsp\; The $500 awards are for students attending an accred
 ited two- or four-year college\, university or vocational-technical scho
 ol on a part-time (less than 12 credits/term) basis. The $1000 awards ar
 e for students attending an accredited two- or four-year college\, unive
 rsity or vocational-technical school on a full-time (12 or more credits/
 term) basis.&nbsp\; Students may reapply to the program each year. A stu
 dent may receive a maximum total of four (4) awards.\n&nbsp\;Awards are 
 intended for use in the 2012-2013 academic school year.\n&nbsp\;
