 ith Groupon Grassroots\, the philanthropic arm of Groupon\, to raise mon
 ey to purchase iPads for people living with ALS.\n&nbsp\;\nIf this Grass
 roots campaign raises $250\, matched by Mr. and Mrs. Ken and Alma Wiegan
 d to become $500\, then the ALS Association &ndash\; DC/MD/VA Chapter ca
 n purchase one iPad for a patient who is unable to communicate. The iPad
  allows PALS to type and save words\, sentences\, and phrases\, and then
  plays them with loud\, clear sound quality. Once the patient is no long
 er able to use the iPad\, it will become part of the organization's loan
  closet\, where it can be used to help multiple patients. Each additiona
 l $500 raised will be used to purchase another iPad to help patients who
