White Marsh Mall Recognizes One Very Special Local Teacher!

We all know teachers work tirelessly day in and day out, not to win an award, but to make the lives and futures of children that much brighter. They work hard to show children support, inspire them and help them to become the best they can be.

To honor local teachers’ hard work and dedication, White Marsh Mall asked the community to nominate and vote for their favorite teacher who goes that extra mile and has made a difference in a child’s life.  After receiving many outstanding nominations and weeks of voting a winner was chosen!

Amy Blackwell, a kindergarten teacher at Perry Hall Elementary, received the most votes and was named the winner in White Marsh Mall’s Celebrate Teachers Sweepstakes.  As the winner, Amy received a $500 Shop Etc. mall gift card, which was presented to her during a special reception at The Greene Turtle on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.  

While Ms. Blackwell was the winner in our Celebrate Teachers Sweepstakes, White Marsh Mall would also like to thank all of the teachers in our community who do so much for their students!  Happy belated National Teacher Day!
