Exchange Students Visit the Food Bank for Westchester

On Tuesday, March 18, the Food Bank for Westchester hosted five college students from China who were the winners of a PepsiCo competition for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility idea. The students were visiting the United States for the first time and in addition to the Food Bank for Westchester will visit the PepsiCo HQ, meetings in NYC and a visit to Washington, DC to the White House and meet with the Chinese ambassador. During their afternoon at the Food Bank, the students learned not only how to repack food at the Food Bank, but also that it is the backbone of the food distribution system in Westchester, supporting over 265 front-line hunger relief programs throughout the county.
