THE RITZ-CARLTON, WESTCHESTER EMPLOYEES DONATE MORE THAN 4,000 DIAPERS TO KIDS’ KLOSET FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER

As part of The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester’s Community Footprints outreach program, a team of ladies and gentlemen from The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester announced the donation of more than 4000 diapers for the first ever Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) Kids’ Kloset Fashion Show on March 23.  Kids’ Kloset, a WJCS program based in White Plains, distributes new and gently-used children’s clothing and essentials to Westchester families in need.

“Our Community Footprint Volunteers are a team of Ritz-Carlton ladies and gentlemen who are dedicated to assisting families in need. I am proud to be part of such a committed and thoughtful team,” said Jeff Dziak, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. 

“The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester ladies and gentlemen have made a huge contribution of 4,100 diapers for Kids’ Kloset,” said Duygu Magnisalis, Senior Sales Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. “The result of the diaper drive is a testament of our team’s commitment to the community.”

The program works through social service agencies, public schools and religious organizations. Individuals from these organizations approach Kid's Kloset and make requests for specific children and families in need. 

In just two years, Kids’ Kloset has distributed more than 4,000 bags of clothing items. The clothing donations go to some of the 12 percent of children up to 18 years in Westchester who are living in poverty.
