AUSA Aberdeen Chapter Named Best Overall

This is the third consecutive year the Aberdeen Chapter received the award.

The Aberdeen Chapter of the Association of the United States Army has been named the "Best Overall Chapter" by the AUSA National for the third consecutive year, according to the chapter's press release.

The chapter has grown since the BRAC process brought new members to Aberdeen in 2005 and held several fundraisers and events last year, the release said.

AUSA is a non-profit organization that supports active Army soldiers, veterans and their family members. The Aberdeen Chapter addresses concerns from the Aberdeen Proving Ground community and encompasses Harford and Cecil counties and the Eastern Shore.
