Cohost: Ed Norris Back on Radio by Late June

Steve Davis said Thursday that Norris 'appreciates everyone's wishes.'

Radio show host Ed Norris is expected to be back behind the microphone by late June.

"He has some broken bones," co-host Steve Davis said Thursday on their morning show on 105.7 FM, but "he will be back."

Norris, a Hampstead resident, was injured last month on his motorcycle when he skidded to avoid a truck in Darlington. The former state and city police chief was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after suffering injuries including broken ribs.

Davis said Norris joked he would be back before Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts, who will reportedly be out six weeks recovering from hamstring surgery.

"I know he appreciates everyone's wishes," Davis said.
