CROP Hunger 5K Walk & Run

The 5th Annual Harford CROP Hunger 5K Walk/Run will be held at Aberdeen's Festival Park on Saturday, October 20.  Registration begins at 8:30 am and Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9 am.  The runners and walkers will start promptly at 9:15 am.  Timing for the 5K Run will be provided by RASAC.  There will also be a Mini-Walk around Festival Park.  Twenty-five percent of the money raised will go to The Sharing Table, a soup kitchen in Edgewood that provides a hot meal and bagged groceries on Saturdays.  The remaining seventy-five percent will support the hunger and poverty-fighting initiatives of Church World Service, OR an affiliate international poverty-fighting agency of the donor's chosing.  Participants who raise a minimum of $25 in donations will receive a Harford CROP Walk tee shirt.  For more information or to register, contact Nancy Gavin, Harford CROP 5K Coordinator at 443-655-3074 or ngavin6734@aol.com or visit www.harfordcropwalk.org.
