The IronBirds won their second consecutive game against the Lake Monsters Monday night.
1. The IronBirds Win, 10-5. Now 9-22, The IronBirds won their second series game against the Lake Monsters in Vermont Monday night. Aberdeen led the game with two runs in the first inning and four runs in the fourth, the team's press release said. The Lake Monsters didn't score until the fifth innning.

Havre de Grace Recreation Committee offers a rhythmic drumming class on Tuesdays for ages 18 and up. No experience needed; instruments are provided. Cost is $68; register at the first session. Class will meet in Room 4 at the Activity Center. No class on July 5th.

A fine arts show, sponsored by the Wilson Ministry Center in the village of Darlington, will be held Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25, 2011. This juried show is open to all artists in the Harford, Cecil, Baltimore and lower Pennsylvania county region.
Mail up to three photos of your work with $15 entry fee payable to the Wilson Ministry Center (tax deductible) to: Ms. Nancy Welsh, 2122 Shuresville Rd., Darlington, MD 21034. Deadline is Wednesday, August 31. No photography, prints or computer generated art will be accepted. Entry fee and 10 percent of sales benefit the Wilson Center.
