Masters of the Chainsaw at Maryland State Fair

Masters of the Chainsaw is a group of the nation's top professional chainsaw sculptors. Onlookers at the Maryland State Fair, standing behind protective netting, will be able to observe an original performance. The carvers' precision quickly transforms a three-foot-tall log into a work of art. The public is also invited to participate in two auctions where the carvings will be sold to benefit the Maryland State Fair Scholarship Fund. The carvers will demonstrate their art weekdays at 1 pm, 3 pm and 7 pm. On weekends, the demonstrations will be held at 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm. Free with paid admission to the fair. The event will be held in the State Fair Park.
