Just because the calendar claims that spring arrived last Sunday, you certainly can’t tell by the weather.  The forecast is cold, damp and dreary for the next few days. In fact, it looks as if we might be seeing a few more flakes before Old Man Winter packs up his bag of tricks and heads out of town.  According to ABC 2 News, accumulating snow is a possibility for this weekend.

With that cheerful thought in mind, it was time to enjoy the sunshine and go in search of some colorful proof that winter really is history.  Almost.

It's been a while since we’ve seen  any colors other than mud brown and snow white.  But, Mother Nature doesn't lie. Spring is truly here. Bulbs are popping up and showing off their blooms.  Buds are bursting out all over. A tour of Festival Park proved beyond a shadow of a groundhog that winter is nearly just a cold memory.
