Oldies Concert with the Retro-Rockets at Aberdeen Festival Park

The Retro-Rockets, a 6-piece band specializing in music of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond, will perform as part of the Aberdeen Festival Park Summer Concert Series on June 26, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Festival Park, Howard & Franklin Streets, Aberdeen, MD.  Dance or listen to the music of Chuck Berry, Etta James, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Drifters, Jimmy Buffet, and many other musicians as the Retro-Rockets plays its unique blend of driving rock and roll songs, smooth ballads, R&B music, classic instrumentals, and even country, big band, standards, disco, and blues numbers. Admission is FREE. Bring the family and friends and blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic dinner to relax to the sounds of this oldies/variety/dance band.  This event is sponsored by the Aberdeen Board of Parks & Recreation. In the event of inclement weather, all performances will be held at Aberdeen Middle School, 111 Mount Royal Avenue, in the Multi-Purpose Room. I started laughing when her injury changed from her knee to her elbow and back.....

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.
