ATI Physical Therapy Aberdeen wins "Championship Belt"

Last month, ATI Physical Therapy Aberdeen, located on the corner of North Parke Street and West Bel Air Ave., won the coveted “Championship Belt” award. ATI Aberdeen, which has been part of the Aberdeen community since 2004, offers physical therapy and sports medicine services.

Each month, ATI’s clinical operations team presents the championship belt to the top-ranked clinics in its East Coast, Midwest, and Wisconsin divisions. With over 250 locations in ten states nationwide, the highly-selective award recognizes only three clinics each month. Award criteria include upholding the company’s core standards and modeling best practices, as determined by patient satisfaction survey results, timeliness of initial evaluation appointments, and others.

“We were honored to receive the award,” said Tyler Buege, clinic director at ATI Aberdeen. “We take pride in creating a fun and comforting atmosphere that is conducive to healing, all while having a great time along the way.”

The team at ATI Aberdeen includes Buege, physical therapist Dave Boska, PTAs Kevin Williams and Kim Gustafson, rehab technicians Chelsey Hilker, Marleza Hernandez, and Derek Tourville, front office coordinator Heather Garrett, and driver Chuck Arbaugh.

“Many patients who are trying physical therapy for the first time have some degree of apprehension,” Buege said. “They typically have pain, and they don’t know what to expect. We love being able to work together as a team to relieve that apprehension and help them actually enjoy physical therapy.”
