UPDATE: Harford County Tornado Warning Expires

A storm with a potential tornado was spotted south of Bel Air on Tuesday morning.

UPDATED (6:55 a.m.)—Harford County was under a tornado warning for about 30 minutes early Tuesday as violent storms passed through the county.

The warning lasted from 6 to 6:30 a.m., as a storm with the potential of producing a funnel cloud was spotted south of Bel Air, moving toward Aberdeen and Havre de Grace.

WBAL radio broadcasts indicated a tornado was located near Perryman at 6 a.m., according to WBAL 1090 AM.

At 6:30, the warning expired, the National Weather Service announced:
...THE TORNADO WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 630 AM EDT FOR HARFORD COUNTY... THE THUNDERSTORM THAT PROMPTED THE WARNING HAS EXITED THE WARNED AREA. THUS THE TORNADO WARNING HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.
