The new Aberdeen location for Aldi will open July 12.
The discount grocer's second Harford County location is located at 746 South Philadelphia Boulevard.
“We are pleased to bring our first store to Aberdeen to help the local community, including US military personnel and their families, get high-quality products at everyday low prices,” Jeff Baehr, Aldi's Frederick division vice president said in a release.

The store will host a ribbon-cutting and preview event at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 11. The store will be open for community members to tour, enjoy samples and enter to win one of five Aldi gift certificates, according to the release.
The Aberdeen store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The store includes environmentally-friendly features including recycled building materials and energy-efficient refrigeration, according to the release.
