UPDATED (7:55 a.m.)—The Aberdeen IronBirds will have a new look in 2013.

The Orioles' short-season Class-A affiliate released new logos Monday morning—just in time for the Cyber Monday shopping rush.

"This logo represents a new era of IronBirds baseball in Aberdeen," Ripken Baseball founder Cal Ripken said in a news release. "We have a lot of exciting plans for 2013, while continuing to remain true to our core mission of creating memorable experiences in and around the game of baseball."

The bird head logo will adorn new hats for 2013. The team's uniforms will not change.

Merchandise featuring the new logo is available in the team store—The Hangar—and on the team's website.

"The IronBirds are evolving to continue to remain on baseball's leading edge," Bill Ripken, co-founder and executive vice president of Ripken Baseball, said in the news release. "This is why we wanted a fresh new look and feel to connect with families, and resonate with fans of all ages."

The IronBirds also released the 2013 schedule Monday—including a home opener on June 17 at Ripken Stadium.

"We look forward to providing our fans and the community with another ten seasons of the most affordable, family entertainment in the region," IronBirds General Manager Aaron Moszer said in the news release. "We've had 2.5 million fans through the turnstiles so far, and we're looking forward to the next 2.5 million."
