Dear Constituents,
I applaud the efforts of Senator Nancy Jacobs and Delegate Mary-Dulany James for their leadership.
I have reached out to the both of them on several occasions to forge a strategic partnership in regards to the congressional redistricting and same-sex marriage petition drives.
Unfortunately due to their busy schedules, Senator Jacobs and Delegate James have been unable to make a commitment to this cause. I understand their circumstances but time is running out!
Last year I was one of the coordinator’s to bring the Dream Act to referendum with the help of Harforl County citizens and many volunteers. We were successful with getting it on the ballot. However, Senator Jacobs was unable to help us with that petition drive as well.
With the three of us living in the district, we have the experience to promote these very important petitions on a grassroots level and their influence can reach far beyond Harfordl County to acquire more signatures.
I ask that you contact their offices and urge them to assist with the petition drive to stop the congressional redistricting map.
