Maryland Republican State Delegate Glen Glass Endorses His Senator Nancy Jacobs for Congress

Delegate Glass Endorses Nancy Jacob's for Congress!

Annapolis, MDMaryland State Delegate Glen Glass, (R-Harford, Cecil), announced today his full support for Maryland State Senator Nancy Jacobs in her bid to replace U.S. Representative Dutch Ruppersberger for Congress. Delegate Glass represents District 34A, which is part of Senator Jacobs district, and believes that she has a great chance to unseat the five-term Congressman.  The General Election will take place Tuesday November 6, 2012.

“Senator Jacobs represents me as well as my constituents and has a
tremendous record during her time as a Member of the House of Delegates and State Senate,” said Delegate Glass.  “She has served the citizens of District 34 for a long time with and I can’t think of anybody else that I would rather see represent me in Washington.”

Delegate Glass went on to explain there were many discrepancies he had with the Congressman’s record despite the fact that he likes him personally. “I like Congressman Ruppersberger personally, he’s a nice guy, but his record is the complete opposite of where I stand.” said Delegate Glass. “This year he voted against the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts (House Resolution 8) and in the past he voted for Obama-Care (ACA), Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Repeal Act, and he even voted against the Stupak Amendment which prohibited federal funding for abortions. Senator Jacobs has always been a defender of Pro Life legislation and initiatives.

When asked about the prospects for Senator Jacobs in November, Delegate Glass expressed a high level of optimism. “I think she has a great chance to win over the Congressman,” said Delegate Glass. “I believe that the time has arrived for Republicans to do well here in Maryland with us being in the worst economy in 80 years, a very unpopular President, and Government intruding into our lives more than ever before.”

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.
