Harford County Under Tornado Watch

The watch lasts until 10 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Harford County and much of Maryland until 10 p.m. Friday.

A watch means it is probable a tornado will happen; a warning is when it is imminent, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast shows heavy rain, along with strong winds and thunderstorms, will move through the area as a cold-front approaches.
