Some facts:

Alzheimer's disease is currently the sixth-leading cause of death in the U.S., and the only one in the top 10 on the rise. It has no cure, treatment or prevention. More than 5 million Americans have the disease, and that number is expected to triple by 2050. Currently, 1 in 3 seniors (aged 65 and older) dies from Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Early-onset Alzheimer's can hit people in their 50's, 40's and even 30's.
