6th Annual Golf Outing for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)

 EOIR Technologies, Inc., a portfolio company of The White Oak Group, is hosting the 6th Annual Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Golf Outing on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Ruggles Golf Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.  

Over the past five years, the TAPS Golf Outing has raised more than $250,000 to assist TAPS in supporting the families of America’s fallen military heroes.

Peter Cannito, Chief Operating Officer, made the announcement. “It is an honor to be associated with an organization like TAPS and support such a worthwhile cause.  EOIR is excited to do what we can to help the families of those warfighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice.” said Cannito.

Shotgun start will be at 9 a.m. on September 19, 2013, with an 18-hole four-person scramble format. A continental breakfast and special buffet lunch will be served. Prizes and awards will recognize winning teams, putting, the longest drive and other activities. The cost to play is $105 per individual ($80 per Military/Government), $420 per foursome ($320 for Military/Government foursome).There are also several corporate sponsorship packages.  

TAPS is the national organization providing compassionate care to anyone grieving someone who died while serving in the military. On average, at least ten people are significantly impacted by each military death.
