St. Joan of Arc participates in National Day of Service and Remembrance

St. Joan of Arc School is participating in the National Day of Service & Remembrance with our Freedom Walk from school to Festival Park on September 11th. The school community along with the Aberdeen community and members from Aberdeen Proving Ground will be participating in the walk to commemorate 9/11. The program will be held at the park with students singing patriotic songs and reading essays about 9/11 and what a hero is. SMG Kenneth Agueda from APG will speak at the program.

In the afternoon, some of the students will be making goody bags for servicemen and women as well as write thank you letters to our troops.
