Harford CROP Hunger 5K Walk/Run

The 6th annual Harford CROP Hunger 5K Walk/Run will be held at Aberdeen's Festival Park on Saturday, October 19.  Registration begins at 8:30 am, followed by a Zumba warm-up at 8:45 and opening ceremonies at 9:00.  Runners and walkers will start promptly at 9:15.  Timing for the 5K Run will be provided by RASAC.  There will also be a Mini-Walk around Festival Park.  Participants who raise a minimum of $25 in donations will receive a Harford CROP Walk t-shirt.  25% of the money raised will go to The Sharing Table in Edgewood, which provides a hot meal and bagged groceries on Saturdays.  The remaining 75% will go to support the hunger and poverty-fighting initiatives of Church World Service.  For more information or to register, contact Rob Comeaux, Harford CROP 5K Coordinator at 410-688-9719 or visit www.harfordcropwalk.org.
