Dog of the Week: Hoops
Age
: 7 years
Color: Tricolor (Black, Brown & White
Breed: Beagle Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $95
Hi, I'm Hoops, and I'm ready to have some fun! I am very friendly and I like to give hugs. Because of our sweet nature, beagles make great family pets, but we need a fenced-in yard because we like to follow our noses! Every new scent is like Christmas morning all over again—so exciting!! Come on out to the shelter and let's meet. Hopefully you'll pick me!

Cat of the Week: Starsky
Age
: 4 years
Color: Black, Brown & Tan Tabby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $47.50 (reduced from $95)
I'm Starsky and I'm lookin' for my new family! I came to the shelter as a stray awhile back, and I'm still lookin' for my Hutch! I'm useless without a loving home and family to dote upon! If you think you and I are destined to be best buddies, stop by and see me! (P.S. I’m in the Lonely Hearts Club, so my adoption fee is half off!)

Small Critter of the Week: Anthony
Age
: Unknown
Color: Blue, Black & White
Breed: Budgie
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $50
Hi! My name is Anthony, and I am a sweet little guy who came to the shelter as a stray. Yes, a stray!  The shelter staff isn’t sure how old I am, but I am very sweet and pretty easy to care for. I would love to find a forever home where I will be a loved member of the family. Please stop by soon and visit with me in the Critter Cottage!

One year while in nyc with a college trip I told my parents I had gotten on a train for baltimore,Read More fed up with the school people... I had my mother write down the info and read it back to me several times before she caught on.... This year my daigther called grandma and said she fell down and was bleeding, and couldnt find me.... I started laughing when her injury changed from her knee to her elbow and back.....

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.

Worst April Fools joke: the Maryland Legislature, our beloved leader M. O'Malley, and the poorRead More suffering citizens who are unfortunate to live the Peoples Republic of Maryland. It just keeps getting better and better. When will the idiots who keep voting in the same big spending, big taxing Democrats over and over again, ever learn?

It is not true! I stopped at two McDonald's in Howard County this morning and neither had any ideaRead More what I was talking about. Guess McD's doesn't really appreciate teachers after all!
