Perfect Thanksgiving “Tablescapes” at White Marsh Mall!

Having the perfect tablescape for my Thanksgiving dinner is almost as important to me as having the perfectly cooked turkey and stuffing.

One of my favorite holidays is fast approaching: Thanksgiving!  After a long year, we get the chance to gather with the people we care about the most and give thanks for all that we have, no matter how great or small those things might be.  But of course, this also means a whole lot of cooking, preparation and my favorite, decorating!

Having the perfect tablescape for my Thanksgiving dinner is almost as important to me as having the perfectly cooked turkey and stuffing. A term coined by Food Network’s Sandra Lee, a tablescape is more than just a center piece; the way you decorate your table truly sets the tone for your Thanksgiving Day feast. At White Marsh Mall, there’s a wide selection of Thanksgiving décor that not only looks great, but is sure to set just the right tone for your families get together.

Whether you are looking for the finishing touches for your table or are starting your tablescape from scratch, I recommend a trip to Boscov’s.  They not only feature a fantastic lineup of tableware and decorations, but they also have a very informed staff to help you select the perfect items for your home. And their prices simply cannot be beat! You could even pick up some delicious candies and fudge made right in the store to serve for the post-dinner hour.

If you are looking for additional holiday décor to add to your table, head to Kirkland’s on the Lower Level, Sears wing. Offering a great selection of unique products, including framed art, mirrors, candles, lamps, picture frames, accent rugs, garden accessories and artificial floral products, they also offer an extensive assortment of holiday merchandise.

In addition to having the perfect tablescape, the right kitchen tools and cookware are key to making entertaining over the holidays easier on the host! Don’t forget to stop in Macy’s Home. It is THE place to find everything for the kitchen and really for your entire abode! Perhaps you could use a new dining room table, more chairs or a bigger sofa? Expecting a few more out-of-town guests this year? They have a huge selection of bedding. And of course, you’ll find a great variety of dishware, flatware, cutlery, and appliances to make the holiday cooking and hosting season easy and fun.

Remember, it’s all about spending time with friends and family during Thanksgiving and the holidays, NOT about spending hours and hours in the kitchen. Let White Marsh Mall make it all merry and bright this year!

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.

Worst April Fools joke: the Maryland Legislature, our beloved leader M. O'Malley, and the poorRead More suffering citizens who are unfortunate to live the Peoples Republic of Maryland. It just keeps getting better and better. When will the idiots who keep voting in the same big spending, big taxing Democrats over and over again, ever learn?
