This Monday, June 18, Zumiez is bringing the excitement of professional and amateur skateboarding to White Marsh Mall with the 12th annual Zumiez Couch Tour!

A complete skate park will be assembled in the mall parking lot, and at the strike of noon we’ll be showcasing the best local talent the Baltimore region has to offer in the Best Foot Forward amateur contest. The winner will be invited to the national Zumiez amateur competition where all of the Best Foot Forward winners from across the nation will compete to see who goes to the biggest stage of all, The Summer X-Games! You won’t want to miss this, so come out and support your favorite local riders.

Make sure you check out the attached video clip, featuring some of the best riding from last year's event. It might be an “amateur” contest, but the skating is anything but!

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.
