The Aberdeen Heritage Trust, and the Aberdeen Appearance and Preservation Committee hosted a holiday decorating contest.
The contest focused on exterior decorations and lighting of homes and businesses during December. Judges picked winners in colonial, modern and business decoration categories.
First places winners in each category won $200 at a City Council meeting on Monday. Second place winners won $100 and third place won $50.
