Williams was a past Harford County educator, according to his death notice.
A former Aberdeen principal passed away recently, and his funeral service will be held this week.
Richard Jay Williams, 84, died Oct. 19 at the University of Virginia Medical Center after a fall, according to his death notice.
The notice said that Williams was a teacher at Havre de Grace Elementary School before serving as principal at Forest Hill, Jarrettsville and Aberdeen elementary schools. He later taught at Towson University, according to the notice.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Central Presbyterian Church, 7308 York Rd., in Towson.
