1 Person Flown Out After I-95 Accident In Aberdeen

The roadway was closed to traffic for about half an hour.

An accident near the Aberdeen exit along Interstate 95 sent at least one person to the hospital and closed the roadway to traffic late Friday night.

Around 10:40 p.m. a crash took place near the 84 mile marker on I-95, said Maryland State Police with the JFK Highway Barrack.

One person was flown by medevac helicopter to a regional trauma center for treatment of injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, state police said.

The lanes for northbound traffic were closed for about 20 to 30 minutes as a result of the accident.
