Aberdeen Crime: Shots Fired, Robbery Arrest

Old Philadelphia Road, 1000 block, 10:32 p.m. on March 25. Officers responded for a report of “six to seven” shots fired. There were no injuries reported and police have no suspects.

South Philadelphia Boulevard, 600 block, 11:30 p.m. on March 25. Kevin Ross, 32, of the first block of Defense Drive was arrested and charged with robbery, theft and second-degree assault. Police said a female reported around 4:20 p.m. on March 25 that she had been robbed on Post Road near Aberdeen Thruway. Ross allegedly struck a female acquaintance and took her purse, fleeing the area, according to police.

South Parke Street, 100 block, 9:40 a.m. on March 25. Johnny R. Little, 31, of the 100 block of South Parke Street was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

MD Route 22 and Post Road, 2:24 a.m. on March 24. Daniel Silvey, 24, of the 3800 block of Delta Road in Airville, PA was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Oxford Avenue, 300 block, 6:39 p.m. on March 23. A resident reported her fence had been spray painted.

South Post Road, first block, 5:24 p.m. on March 23. An Xbox 360 and two laptops were stolen from a residence.

Franklin Street, first block, 2:44 p.m. on March 23. An unknown number of DVDs were reportedly stolen from their cases.

North Parke Street, first block, 10:36 a.m. on March 19. Douglas L. Barber, 53, of the 900 block of Avon Drive was arrested on a warrant. Barber was arrested at the Aberdeen police station.
