The Aberdeen Police Department is looking for help identifying the suspect.

A man made off with a student's laptop in the Aberdeen library and officials are asking the public for help identifying him, the Aberdeen Police Department said in a statement Tuesday.

The man is accused of stealing a 2013 Apple Mac Pro Model A1398 with retina display, valued at $4,500, according to police. It was in a black carrying case with several zippered pockets.

Aberdeen police said the computer belonged to a college student who has cerebral palsy and is nearly blind.

The theft occurred at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 16, police said.

Anyone with information may contact Detective Robert Gibbons at 410-272-2121 extension 135.
