Edgewood Man Found Dead Inside Car
Christopher Curtis Alves, 21, was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds inside a car.
Police discovered the body of an Edgewood man inside a parked car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Thursday morning, according to a press release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Christopher Curtis Alves, 21, was found dead by sheriff's deputies inside a silver Dodge Magnum in the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive in Edgewood after receiving a report of a woman screaming in the area just before 9 a.m. Police believe that Alves was the intended target of the shooting.
"At this time, detectives do not believe that the shooting was a random act of violence. The death is being investigated as a homicide," the press release stated. The press release also noted that the investigation was in its early stages.
