Edgewood Man Shot Monday Night

The incident took place on Waltman Road in Edgewood, police said.

 

An Edgewood man is recovering Tuesday morning at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after he was shot in the face Monday night, authorities said.

Quentin Van Stepney Jr., 27, of Edgewood, was found lying in the 1900 block of Waltman Road around 9:20 p.m. Monday after sustaining a gunshot wound to his face, according to the .

The incident is under investigation.

Stepney was transported to the Shock Trauma Center by the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

He was listed in serious but stable condition as of early Tuesday, according to the sheriff's department.
