Harford Police Endorse Bennett for Aberdeen Mayor

The president of the Harford County Fraternal Order of Police released a letter endorsing Mayor Michael Bennett's reelection.

Jason Niedig, president of the Harford County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 128, has endorsed the reelection of Mayor Michael Bennett, according to a press release.

Bennett served as a dispatcher for the Aberdeen Police Department before working for the Maryland State Police for 40 years.

"The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 128 based this endorsement on answers to questions that were sent to you on issues that are near and dear to our members, your pledge not to lay-off or furlough police officers and your continuous commitment to public safety," Neidig wrote in the press release.
