Harford County Sheriff: Reward for Perrywood Shooting Info

Authorities are looking for the suspect who reportedly shot a man Saturday after a dispute.

The weekend shooting in Perrywood that left a 26-year-old Cecil County man hospitalized remains under investigation, and the Harford County Sheriff's Office is searching for leads.

Officials announced Thursday that there is a reward for information about the incident.

The shooting occurred on the 200 block of Perrywood on Saturday, March 9.

Police were called at approximately 6:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

A man had been shot in the abdomen after a dispute at the apartment complex in Perrywood, according to officials.

When police arrived, the victim had been taken to Harford Memorial Hospital by an acquaintance for treatment, police said. 

From there, he was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries.

The victim remains in serious condition at shock trauma as of Thursday afternoon, Aaron Stewart, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, said.

The reward for information is up to $2,000, according to a flyer that the sheriff's office sent out Thursday afternoon.
