House Fire Reported in Aberdeen, Route 40 Impacted
There was fire showing on the second floor.
Firefighters were at the scene of a blaze in the unit block of North Philadelphia Road in Aberdeen Sunday morning.
The two-story house had fire showing on the second floor, Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS reported just before noon.
Eastbound lanes of US Route 40 were closed between West Bel Air Avenue and Franklin Street due to the apartment fire, according to the Aberdeen Police Department, which reported the lane closures at 11:45 a.m.
Westbound Route 40 was restricted to one lane, police said, advising drivers to use alternate routes.
